I'm not sure we can delete the repository. Since it was referenced in manifests which have already shipped to partners, removing the repository would break their builds. ni :mwu - was the partner impact covered in the legal discussion? (I don't have access)

No, but that doesn't matter as we have to stop distributing this regardless. This is also not a repo that we are an upstream for, so there shouldn't be a problem. There is potential impact on our branches though, so we should wait until bug 1125085 is uplifted.

Note: the same files appear to also be included in: git.mozilla.org/external/sprd-aosp/platform/external/netperf which is pulled from an upstream of http://sprdsource.spreadtrum.com:8085/b2g/android/platform/external/netperf
Hwine, Thanks for your remind. The same repo mirror from sprd should also be removed. Now bug 1125085 is uplifted to all branches and I think we can remove the mirror.

Hal, can we get this removed? This is getting removed for legal reasons - we should not wait on OKs, especially when this is not a repo we are an upstream for.

Got lost - thanks for re-hilite. Never heard from TAMs or QA -- so will assume they don't care. (It will break the ability to bisect using automated builds, but that's likely long in the past.) At least 2 pieces to happen: - stop mirroring (done as of 2015-01-26) - remove repos from git.mozilla.org Repos to be affected: external/sprd-aosp/platform/external/netperf external/caf/platform/external/netperf.git :fubar - I don't think we have a process for this yet

Moved both repos to ~gitolite3/repositories-backups/ and removed them from projects.list
