This feature would be pretty awesome for users, finding their new bookmark directly in the folder they intended it to be in. It would save time and the need to every time shift your new bookmark to the folder that you want.

I think this is too magical. Folders are designed for users who want to organize their own stuff. Users who don't want to organize things should be able to just search for bookmarks.
