Steps to reproduce:

Opened the Developer Tool Color Picker, then selected a color and almost instantly clicked on the styles editor.


Actual results:

Mouse cursor dissapeared and the color picker remains sticked in the last position. I move cursor and can hover elements, but I cant see the cursor, it turns invisible, only inside the web viewer and dev tools.


Expected results:

It should show the cursor and hide the Color Picker Tool. It happened few times before, I think, it happens when I click another part of the web view before the Color Picker shows the "Copied" message. BTW, it delays between click and Copied Message, at least in my PC.

Hi Erick.

I have tested this on latest Firefox release (43.0.2) and latest Nightly (46.0a1) and could not manage to reproduce it. On my end the "copied" message instantly appears after I click on the desired color. Indeed there is a delay until the mouse pointer appears but this happens only after the color is copied and it's for about one second only.

Can you please test this on the latest Firefox release (43.0.2) or latest Nightly (46.0a1, https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and tell me if this still reproduces for you ? When doing this please use a new fresh Firefox profile, maybe also in safe mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems).

Confirmed in 43.0.2 with a new profile. If you click on any place within the web view inmediately after picking the color, the bug occurs. Time between click and "Copied" message reduced considerably. But if you are fast enough to click between the first click when copy the color and the "Copied" message, you will reproduce the bug

Currently using OS X El Capitan with nightly build 47.0a1 and I can confirm the bug as well.

Steps
=====
1. Open inspect element
2. Click the colour clicker icon
3. If you click the style editor tab before the color picker has fully loaded you will lose your mouse and are unable to get it back.

I see the issue with Fx44.0 now. The mouse pointer still appear on the title bar (tabbar space) and out of the Firefox window (e.g. taskbar).

Back to normal, "some loss of functionality under specific circumstances".

As a note for bug 1127484, I still can reproduce the problem in Nightly 2016-02-18, with the Eyedropper button on devtools strip.
