I think this might be similar to bug 1131793, which is also a MediaTek device.

Teodora can you see if this works on Nightly now?
Flags: needinfo?(teodora.vermesan)
I still reproduce the issue on latest Nightly 39.0a1 (2015-02-23) using Alcatel One Touch (Android 4.1.2)
Flags: needinfo?(teodora.vermesan)
I can reproduce the issue on Firefox 37 Beta 1, Firefox 38.0a2 (2015-02-23) and Firefox 39.0a1 (2015-02-23). I cannot reproduce on Firefox 36.
Don't we have a bunch of these phones somewhere? Kevin, do you know?
Flags: needinfo?(kbrosnan)
I would think Toronto might have this. We gave this device to SV from the MV Alcatel delivery.

Yes, I have one in office.
Flags: needinfo?(aaron.train)
I'm able to reproduce on Firefox 37 Beta 7 on Alcatel One Touch 8008D (Android 4.1.2)
@snorp mentioned he can post a build for me to try out

Snorp, are you working on this? or should we get a new assignee?
Flags: needinfo?(snorp)
Device specific and I don't really have time right now. We've shipped this without many complaints, so moving this to a +
