[Build-ID: 2001-12-05-15 on Linux] I started seeing this bug after Blakes outliner checkin. Steps to reproduce: 1) Go to Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks 2) Move a bookmark to another location (eg. to another location in the folder) Expected result: The bookmark should be moved to the location where you release it. Actual Result: The bookmark is moved to the bottom of the level it was dropped to. Here's a graphical explanation: Mozilla mozilla.org tinderbox bugzilla mozillazine If I move the bugzilla bookmark above the tinderbox bookmark it will instead be placed after mozillazine.

Yeah, there are still some issues with drag and drop that need to be addressed. Note that it works best (is least flakiest, but still noticeably so) when you click the column header until the arrow is up.

I should clarify that the bookmark actually ends up in the correct location once you have refreshead the view (such as by expanding and collapsing a folder).

The same behavior is found in the sidebar; although that is probably a given.

I'm seeing the general problem that drag and drop doesn't put the bookmark where the line cursor indicates. Usually it is placed one or two positions above the indicated insertion point. (WinME 2001122003) As described in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113660#c3 if I collape and then expand the folder, the bookmark is now displayed in the correct position. See also bug 1167076.

I do no longer see the initial behaviour that I described in this bug. Drag and drop is however very broken in most other ways as we all know.

The reporter mentioned he no longer sees the original problem. However, I just accidentally filed a dupe, as I am experiancing the exact same problem. Linux 2001122708. Some further notes are in my bug.

I thought this was fixed in another bug. Anyone still see this? I don't. Seeing a few other issues where a drop doesn't go to the right place, but this on seems completely fixed.
