User Story
As a desktop client user, I want to delete rooms without a confirmation step so that it is simpler. Acceptance criteria: - Selecting "Delete conversation" in the conversation context menu displays a banner confirming the deletion with an option to "Undo". The deleted conversation is removed from the list - Selecting undo closes the banner and re-adds the conversation to the conversation list - After a few seconds the banner goes away if "Undo" is not selected

Currently at deletion of a room you get a new window with:
Confirm?
Yes/No buttons
Nothing related to hello or the room name for example. Users should be sure it is the hello room they are asked confirmation about.
This might be fix together with the Bug 1115354 - Loop "delete a room" operation should use inline confirmation

You're completely right, Ioana, thanks for filing this. I think it's something we intended to change in an upcoming version when not affected by a string-freeze.
But I also think we haven't got the right words for this yet. Sevaan, do you have an idea here?

Do you want to delete "Conversation Name"?

FYI we consider a behavior change for implementation in Fx40 where the user would not be prompted to confirm the deletion but rather would be able to undo the action: https://bug1130074.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8569453
Let's change this if this is a trivial change given that the UX will change soon in Fx40.

Hi RT - given your Comment 4 - let's re-purpose this bug for the full fix option with Undue when deleting a room that includes more details (like the room name). No matter how small this fix is, this is a "death by papercuts" bug to do now, if we are planning to do a full fix weeks later.
Is the the final UX bug is filed as part of a bigger UX bug? If not, can you file a UX specific bug and we'll use this bug for implementation.
this as a low P4 (regular bug, polish - not actionable). we can make it a higher P4 when the UX is complete.

As per discussion at yesterday's standup, this isn't part of the visual refresh itself. Removing dependency.
