mail delete button sensitivity "problem"

steps to reproduce:

1) select mail folder (in my case, imap INBOX) with unread messages in it
2) press next button
3) notice that delete button is disabled
4) click on selected mail message
5) notice that delete button is now enabled

problem:

IMO the delete button should be enabled after pressing the next button

observed using Linux 2001120515 commercial build (and many builds before that)
