People are asking the same Java-related questions over and over again. I think having a FAQ document at www.mozilla.org would be good. Subjects: * Is Java supported on platform foo? * How do I make Java work on Solaris? * How do I get JRE for Linux and Windows and make Mozilla use it? * Why doesn't Mozilla support Java 2 on Classic Mac OS? * What's the Java situation on Mac OS X? * I changed the UA string. Now Java doesn't work! * What's the deal with LiveConnect? Related bugs: bug 101195 and bug 63140

Do we already have this, or do we still want this or can we resolve this WONTFIX? Just asking, since nothing happened for over 2 years.
As far as I can tell, this has not been fixed. Bug 197813 has complicated things further.

It looks like SUMO has at least some of this information: http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-searchresults.php?locale=en-US&q=java&sa= If there's a need to add more documentation about this, it should be added on SUMO or MDC and not on www.mozilla.org. Closing as wontfix.
