Steps to reproduce:

when trying to get to sms settings from messaging app it opens the general settings

1.) open messaging app
2.) tap setting button


Actual results:

when you click the settings from the messaging app it takes you to general settings. When you hit the home button and select the sms app it is still in the settings. The only way to get back to the messaging app its to close it from the task manager.


Expected results:

it should have opened the sms settings and been able to hit a back button to get back to the messaging app and not have to close it via task manager.

It's taking you to the SMS settings within the settings app.  I'm not sure this is a bug...

it goes to the general settings... not the sms settings... and you cannot get back without closing via task manager

I don't see this issue in latest build of 3.0  :|
I think there might be a step missing or something to reproduce the issue.

Actually it seems to be gone now.... before the prompt window that pops up with the select threads and settings was not popping up at all... but it is now. Im not sure what the cause was... Im might go through the ftp for the last few days and see where it was.

actually yes I was missing a detail... still valid... you have to be in rtl. please recheck in rtl nhirata.

1.) open main settings app
2.) open messaging
3.) open sms settings from messaging app

This looks like a simulator issue.  I can't reproduce the issue on device.  I can reproduce the issue on simulator.

Odd.  I can actually reproduce this issue on the production version but not the engineering version.

STR:
1. go to settings
2. hit home
3. go to sms
4. hit settings for sms

Expected: sms portion of settings
Actual: general settings, no way to go back to sms easily.
