Users receive the desktop version for these devices

On iPhone the user is redirected to http://sina.cn/?from=www

The redirection is just the first step of the issue. 
Bug 1013777 shows that Firefox OS is receiving a simplified version when accessing sina.cn.
The good news is that the sina.cn mobile version sent to Firefox Android is working well on Firefox OS. So it's just a matter of UA detection, including subpages and subdomain. No front-end modifications is necessary.

could you help us find a contact there to solve this. It's an easy fix.

Will we also add http://www.sina.com.cn/ to https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/file/tip/b2g/app/ua-update.json.in before sina start to recognize our UA?

So it's what I was saying in my Comment #3
It depends on what you want. 

With UA Override
To go from www.sina.com.cn to sina.cn, 
we need to do UA override as being an **iPhone**.

Consequences:
1. We will never appear in the stats of their site as Firefox OS. 
   This hurts the brand in terms of Market Share
2. This will effectively redirects to sina.cn
   But we will receive the simplified mobile version of the site, not the touch version.
3. It's harder to convince them to fix it… because 
   - Sina: "Hey it's working and anyway You do not appear in our browser stats"
   - Mozilla: "Well, we are lying about who we are"


To receive the sina.cn Touch version, we would need to impersonate "Firefox Android" with UA override. 
Consequences:
Same issues as the previous 1 and 3.

But yes doable. Here we are lucky the markup sent to us is working on Firefox, not like hao123.

(Note that once/if we decide to do UA override, it's very quick to put in place. A couple of days.)
