I removed darrin's implementation of this when landing Bug 1135768 because it popped like *crazy*. The issue, I believe, is that the blur effect view samples first from the web view, and then later from a screenshot; the sample must change because the blur pops colours noticeably. I'd like to get this right, but it's tricky.
