Reproducible on:
Nightly 39.0a1 (2015-03-19)

Affected platforms:
Ubuntu 14.04 (x64), Windows 7 (x64), Windows 8.1 (x64), Mac OS X 10.9.5

Preconditions:
* browser.readinglist.enabled = true
* a profile with several items available in the Reading List

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Firefox.
2. Access the Reading List from the bookmarks menu, via toolbar → Show your bookmarks → Reading List.
3. Look for the "Show Reading List Sidebar" button without scrolling inside the Reading List.

Expected result:
No matter the amount of items in the Reading List, the "Show Reading List Sidebar" button from the bookmarks menu is always (statically) displayed at the bottom of the list, unaffected by scroll events.

Actual result:
The user has to scroll to the bottom of the Reading List to see the "Show Reading List Sidebar" button.

P4 based on it still being accessible from the View -> Sidebars menu.

I think we should actually just limit this menu to being, say, the last 10 items you added. It's not really useful UI once there are large number of items in the list (scrolling though a menu with hundreds of items would be extremely painful), and would solve this issue too. I'll file a separate bug for that.

Agreed, 10 sounds like the right amount.

Michael / Markus: does that sound good? Anything else you think we should do here?

Great idea. Let's go with 10.
I have the feeling it might be a rather small limit, but as long as we do not know how people use RL it is difficult to estimate.

If we limit the list, we should give an indication that there are more articles in RL than shown here. Only linking to the Sidebar does not communicate that.

Closing this as invalid since it no longer applies to our latest builds like Release 123.0.1.
