I'm developing in bug 1148546 some update testing which would run much much faster if inside of the releng network. I want to run next week, once we have beta2 on ftp, a full run of verify.sh. If I could have this by Monday EOD or Tuesday it would be great. I need a Linux 64 bit build machine. Thanks!
Email sent to Armen for further instructions. Loaning slaves: - dev-linux64-ec2-armenzg Hi Armen, I am going to assign this to you to keep track of the loan. When you are finished with the loan forever, please comment stating so here in the bug, and mark the bug as RESOLVED. By the way, now that this aws instance has been created, starting and stopping it can happen in a flash! If you are not going to be using this machine for multiple hours, let us know in this bug and we can stop it. Comment again when you want it started back up. * For faster turnaround, ping #releng (look for nick with 'buildduty')

Thanks Massimo. Could you please help me enable VNC on this machine? I can't figure it out.
(In reply to Armen Zambrano G. (:armenzg - Toronto) from comment #2) > Thanks Massimo. > Could you please help me enable VNC on this machine? I can't figure it out. The VNC service is only available on test machines and it is not installed on linux build machines. Should we loan you a test slave instead?

I figured it out. Don't worry.

Could you please stop the loaner for now? I won't need it until Monday/Tuesday. Thanks!

Could you please start this up for me? Thanks!
restarted
Thank you so much. This can be stopped again. I won't need it for a bit. I think I might ask for this to be reverted if I have no more need for it.
Let me know if you are OK for me to have it few days up without bothering you it about it!
I will probably need it once more this week once bug 1156475 is fixed. Let me know if you prefer me not to request to turn it on/off so frequently.
Please stop this when you have a chance. I might need it again mid-week. Thanks!
stopped. Please let me know if you still need it or it can be turned into amazon pixie dust.
I still need it for one more week.
Could you please start it up for me?
just started it, will take a few minutes
Can someone please start this instance for me?
(In reply to Armen Zambrano Gasparnian [:armenzg] from comment #21) > Can someone please start this instance for me? Armen, I'm assuming you're in good shape here. If not please ping me on IRC and I'll get it back up tomorrow.
