Details
When entering or leaving fullscreen, we make an animated transition between the two element states. However if the element contains a playing HTML <video> we don't update the video frame during the animation.
Audio plays during the transition, it's just the video images which are dropped.

We fade to black now so nobody sees the video stop updating.
