Please change the end point for the App Stats link in the Firefox-os-usage from : https://wiki.mozilla.org/Marketplace/AppStats to : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/send-performance-data-mozilla
Depends on: 1153021
Marshall - FYI The SUMO page updates are underway (see dependent bugs). Marshall and Geoff (legal) have reviewed and are taking the copy to Denelle. We are very close to reassigning this bug to Product: Firefox OS and to you.

Marshall - The end point for the App Stats link in the Firefox-os-usage is completed Please use this url : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/send-performance-data-mozilla
Thanks Caitlin.. looking for a bit of clarification. Currently, there are a few different links that we have, and I want to verify which should be updated. 1. In the First Time User (FTU) app, there is a link labeled 'Privacy Notice' in the 'Improve OS' page (near the end) that currently links to https://www.mozilla.org/privacy/firefox-os 2. In the Settings app, under 'Device > Improve OS', there is a link labeled 'App Usage By Region' that opens an activity to search the marketplace with the special 'type' of firefox-os-app-stats (I'm unsure what URL this actually translates to, I think the marketplace app itself is responsible for handling it)

Apologies, I went hunting upstream and found 1129060. It seems the intention is to replace the 'App Usage By Region' link.. Just a question, should the text of that link remain 'App usage by region' if it just points to a page about sending performance data to moz?
There was a bug, opened to Gaia, I believe, that articulated what the links on the settings should say do you recall that bug number or see it anywhere? *has looked high low and upside down. can't find*

I'll NI Ravi - My assumption is that the link in the Settings app, under 'Device > Improve OS', which is currently labeled 'App Usage By Region' should now read "Get More Info" or "How We Use Your Data" but I believe this is a UX call?
Flags: needinfo?(rdandu)
We should change the label. "More Info" seems to be appropriate which points to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/send-performance-data-mozilla Adding Mike Tsai from UX team to be aware of this change, and comment on it.
Flags: needinfo?(rdandu) → needinfo?(mtsai)
Changing the label means a string change, which will probably be too late at this point for localization
Flags: needinfo?(marshall)
We can avoid the string change by using one of these existing strings: - "More Information" - "Learn More"
Caitlin and I just synced up, and we're going to recommend that we avoid the late l10n change by reusing the 'Learn More' string that already exists in the Settings app. I'll go ahead and get the pull request sent with these changes, and attach a screenshot. Ravi / Mike, does that sound alright?
Flags: needinfo?(rdandu)
Yes, this sounds good. Please go ahead and do it. Thank you.
Flags: needinfo?(mtsai)
Marshall, "Learn more" sounds good to me.
