Description: When you turn on airplane mode all data and wi-fi icons should clear off of the notification bar. Currently in 3.0 the Data icons remain in the notification bar in their searching animation. This occurs with 1 or 2 SIMs Repro Steps: 1) Update a Flame to 20150415095209 2) With a SIM inserted, turn on Airplane Mode Actual: SIM icon remains in the notification bar in its searching animation Expected: SIM icon will be removed from the notification bar when airplane mode is turned on Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 3.0 Build ID: 20150415095209 Gaia: 2dd89fef4fae4d86fd313037ef384086c2e0e8a5 Gecko: 11077895df62 Gonk: b83fc73de7b64594cd74b33e498bf08332b5d87b Version: 40.0a1 (3.0) Firmware Version: v18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:40.0) Gecko/40.0 Firefox/40.0 Repro frequency: 7/7 See attached: logcat, Video Clip: http://youtu.be/QpZGtYI4ysQ

I cannot reproduce this :( Is it SIM card specific? What I am seeing: * After airplane mode is pressed, it took some time to show airplane mode icon. * When airplane mode icon is shown, the signal icon disappears soon!

I am able to reproduce this bug on today's 3.0 using an AT&T SIM card. The bug is not 100% repro, maybe 3/5 attempts. It's easier to get if user enables airplane mode, disables airplane mode, then re-enables airplane mode in a short timeframe. Is this still happening? If so, Alive can you provide a logging patch if you cant reproduce?

Issue does still reproduce in Flame 3.0 SIM bars appear after enabling, disabling, then re-enabling airplane mode. Searching animation does not play, but empty SIM bars remain on screen alongside airplane mode icon. See video in comment 6. This bug has been verified as "pass" on latest Nightly build of Flame v3.0 by the STR in Comment 0 & Comment 8. Actual results: Enabling and disabling airplane mode for several times, then re-enabling airplane mode, the SIM icon doesn't remain on status bar as expected, and airplane icon shows normally.
