Steps to reproduce:

This bug just tracks changes needed to make about: pages work in stand-alone cZ (XulRunner).

To me bug 1160906, bug 1160905, bug 1160904 are all the same regarding implementation. As such I propose to mark this as duplicate of bug 1160904 .
I did what I did as Mardeg suggested this approach on IRC. He was available then and I asked him if folding both into one bug would be better than two bugs. I hadn't considered a tracking bug.

XULRunner has been retired (bugs moved to Graveyard and code taken off mozilla-central). Anyone still wanting to use it will have to maintain it himself.

So does that mean all future versions of cZ will be strictly browser based?

I don't know. They will probably run in XULRunner if you can find an old XULRunner binary — or build one from source archives — but XULRunner itself has reached EOL from Mozilla's POV.

Do you know if this also applies to `firefox --app` ?
