not sure if this is a dup of bug 115238, because the order of the folders in the move/copy submenus is not random for me... found using 2001.12.20.08 comm bits on linux rh7.2. 1. with a new profile, created an imap account. this mail account has quite a few folders, some which include subfolders. i was in my Inbox, and wanted to move a message into another folder. 2. selected Message > Move Message > [imap-account] to bring up a list of imap folders... observed: rather than listing the special folders first followed by the other ones alphabetically, this is what i see: * at the top, non-special folders containing subfolders, listed alphabetically * special folders * the rest of the non-special folders listed alphabetically

the submenu for Copy Message looks the same, too.
actually, i just noticed something --the 'folx' parent menu is at the top... i tried scrolling up a bit, expecting to see 'admin' up there [another folder containing subfolders], but didn't see it. in fact, 'admin' was at the *bottom* of the submenu! odd...
