nexus-5-kot49h-4 failed to keep a charge after its battery level dropped below 50% and has now apparently shut down. It initially had problems as described in bug 1160499.

Marc: I don't know if this is due to a faulty usb port or cable or if the battery in nexus-5-kot49h-4 is faulty. Can we take it out and replace it with one of the spares? We don't need to recycle nexus-5-kot49h-4 yet, but may be give it a rest.

For an example of the configuration for the new device, you can use the instructions in bug 1157762.

If we can label the new nexus 5 as nexus-5-kot49h-5 and record its serialno here that would be great.

It appears that nexus-5-kot49h-2 is also below 50% and while it is not discharging it is not charging either. Lets swap it out with one of the nexus-5 spares as well.

I have the rooted phone I can replace it with, is there any additional configuration that needs to be done once its plugged in?

do you have two spares? I'd like to go ahead and replace nexus-5-kot49h-2 and nexus-5-kot49h-4 since this is the second time they have had charging issues.

nexus-5-kot49h-2 has recovered again so if you want to delay replacing it, that is ok.

nexus-5-kot49h-4 has been replaced with one of our spares, we have one left.   It is labled nexus-5-kot49h-5 and serial number is 07c0feac2581ad63.  Lets hold off on nexus-5-kot49h-2 until it fails again. I will hold on to -4 for a bit until we see if replacing it fixes the issue.

Marc got nexus 5 devices set up friday after some problems on my end. I couldn't get the nexus-5-kot49h-5 setup with Superuser/su which is required for SUTAgent and the mochitests. Marc had to reflash it after my first attempt. I messed up nexus-5-kot49h-6 as well so we went back to nexus-5-kot49h-5.
