This issue is clearly obvious with a web site that use a coloured background like:
http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum/114
(this web site is one of the most popular web site in Australia)
With e10s disabled, clicking on any of the thread title, simply displays the page like you would expect (here almost instantly). No blank page, the new content just appears.
With e10s enabled, the whole page first goes blank (with a brownish background), briefly, but long enough to be noticeable. before the content appears.
Now that e10s has been enabled on my aurora copy, I've find that overall latency to be much greater. Pages that otherwise would appear snappy, are now rather sluggish. In particular scrolling.

can you reproduce this in a fresh profile (with e10s enabled) or with all of your add-ons disabled.
