*This form is to capture all applications for Intern Requests, it can be similar to the Recruiting req opening bug*


Applications for Summer 2016 Interns are now being accepted. If you would like to request an intern for Summer 2016 the application deadline is July 10, 2015 as recruiting begins September 2015. Applying for an intern is not a guarantee that you will be granted an intern this time around. All applications will be considered and reviewed by the University Team, your Human Resource Business Partner, and ultimately approved at the VP level.

Interns are charged back to your department and cost approximately 30K for a 12 week period and includes salary, housing, relocation, equipment and visa if needed (PhD level can be 40-50K) 

Interns will be allotted based on the need for level 1 and 2 growth on your team, business need, and location support.

The recruiting form is only visible to mozilla-employee-confidential, mozilla-foundation-confidential, and mozilla-messaging-confidential. Should the same restriction apply to the intern form?

This form only needs to be seen by Mozilla Employee Confidential but it is fine if it is the same as Recruiting.

One more thing: The Recuriting product is special-cased (anything in that product gets the recruiting form) and we also generate reports from it. Thus the intern requests will need to have a different product to go into (or else we'll have to make changes to Recruiting reports).

Is there a product that would be suitable for these requests to go into, or did you want them under (a new) component of the Recruting Product?

It's my intention to have it up for review tomorrow morning (June 11) -- and you will be able to test it on bugzilla-dev at that time. 

I'm fairly confident we get it out in next week's code push.

1b) Will there need to be a report similar to the Recruiting report for the results of this form?
2) I needed a field for the "summary" of the bug, so I copied the Position Title from the Recruiting form -- if there is another field that should be used for the bug summary, I can remove it.

we shouldn't revert the default format of the recruiting product.

visiting the intern url should override this default; if it doesn't then fix that instead of removing the default.

I suspect the logic for forcing the format was a *feature* that became a bug, and this patch either removes that feature or fixes the bug, depending on how you look at it.

"Job Description" is a link, I will make it more obvious, perhaps having the URL directly below it.

That field is there, it only shows up if you answer "No".

This has been pushed to production so let's do any follow up changes as new bugs. Opened bug 1191016.
