Steps to reproduce:

1. Enable Lightning 3.3.3 addon
2. Click on an email message
3. Email message body shows blank
4. Disable Lightning 3.3.3 addon
5. Restart Thunderbird
6. Click on an email message
7. Email message body populates with text (it shows)


Actual results:

When the Lightning 3.3.3 addon is enabled, email bodies do not display.


Expected results:

When the Lightning 3.3.3 addon is _disabled_, email bodies show correctly.

I deleted the .thunderbird profile as a last resort, and re-created all the email accounts; and it now works properly. 

I don't know exactly what caused the issue before, but disabling the Lightning addon had made it work.

It was a pain to have to re-create everything. Oh well.

Thanks for filing the report, and sorry for the extra pain. If it happens again please file a new bug, maybe with error console messages. Also, try upgrading to Thunderbird 38 and Lightning 4.0 :)
