When text selected from Internet Explorer 6 is copied onto the clipboard and 
pasted into Composer, the HTML formatting is lost.

The formatting is not correct even for text selected from Mozilla browser

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a web page in Internet Explorer or Mozilla Browser ( 
http://www.mozilla.org )
2. Select the text on the page including the table on the left.
3. Paste the selected text into a Composer window

Actual Results:  From IE, the selected text gets pasted as text
From Mozilla, the formatting of the left side table is incorrect in the view

Expected Results:  The Composer frame should display the page as it was copied 
from the source

As you are using Windows, could you please try this:
1) copy text from Internet Explorer or Mozilla
2) run C:\WINDOWS\clipbrd.exe (or C:\WINNT, if using NT-based windows)
3) see if the text in the clipboard is in any way marked up, or if it's just 
plain text.  Paste the clipboard's contents here if it's marked up in some way.

The contents don't seem marked up in the clipbrd applicaction. But, If i copy 
from IE and paste into Wordpad, it pastes with the markups.

When copied from Mozilla, it pastes as plain text.

I have tested this with the 1.0 RC1 release.
