Details

In FF nightly and safari, spaces in phonebook searches get converted to %20 while in previous FF versions and chrome the behavior has been to preserve the spaces unencoded. No clue what iOS does, but I expect it is the same as safari. There's more discussion about the behavior here:

but phonebook should handle both for now
