In bug 1173739 I wanted to add a Windows-10-specific search glass icon, but as it turns out we currently use the same icon on all OSes. Having one icon for Windows 10 only and another one shared for all the rest (that's other Windows versions, Linux and OS X) seems weird. Should we just update the shared icon rather than adding one for Windows 10 as the single exception?

Hm, it seems like the glass in Stephens comp is made specifically for the higher search bar we have on Windows 10 and might look off in other OS versions. I think we should either special-case the glass on Win10 or just stick with the current one for now. Stephen, any ideas?

No longer blocks: windows-10-issues
(In reply to Philipp Sackl [:phlsa] (Firefox UX) please use needinfo from comment #1) > Hm, it seems like the glass in Stephens comp is made specifically for the > higher search bar we have on Windows 10 and might look off in other OS > versions. Note that the current shared icon already looks off since our toolbar icons use different shades of gray for different platforms.
