This issue does not occur on the Flame 2.2 and Flame 2.1 The manually set time in settings matches the status bar time. Zibi, this was called out in Comment 9 on Bug 1172699 by our tester before you landed it but I think we all thought it was the same "Incorrect time" bug that has been open for forever. However, this issue only affects master and it is a regression.
In my original message to dev.gaia[0] I stated that I intend to land a timezone switching regression and that we will have to wait for bug 1172609 to be fixed. So if this this bug happens after switching timezone and disappears after phone reboot, it's bug 1172609. For the future bugs that may be filed in my last message in that thread I listed known regression that include this bug and bug 1188615. I'm not sure how can I reach to the testers otherwise so that they know that if they see a bug related to statusbar icon and/or lockscreen, and the bug happens after switching timezone and goes away after reboot, it's bug 1172609 and we shouldn't be reporting new bugs for that, looking for regression windows etc. [0] https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mozilla.dev.gaia/qgcEgxHonm8/kIKuIf8S154J [1] https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mozilla.dev.gaia/qgcEgxHonm8/8p0iy8hlGrwJ
