118976 - AB Column picker should allow displaying of any/all/every existing contact fields (e.g. Custom1 etc.) as columns in the main address book list pane

There is now a way to select which fields should be shown in the Addressbook
listing. It would be great if *all* fields (except maybe comments) could be
listed. This includes the 4 Custom fields.

After creating a card where all the fields have data, after the card is closed
and selected in the Results Pane (upper right), I can see all the contents in
the Card Pane (bottom right). 

If I remove information (i.e. Comments in "Custom 4") then the  Card Pane does
not display this data. Are you asking that any area that does not have data
atleast show the field so in this example it would display:
"Custom 4:      "

Sorry if I sound confused but I'm not sure what you mean by "in the list" are
you talking about a mailing list or information that is dispalyed in the Card Pane?

Sorry, I didn't realize that "the list" could be confusing. The list of
addresses is the list I am referring to and it something that looks like this:

Name    Email     Organization   Pager  [v]
John    [e-mail] ABC            123
Pete    [e-mail] XYZ            555

the [v] stands for the symbol which lets you select what fields should be shown
in the list (currently Name, Email, Organization and Pager).

In this list, I'd like not only to have:
Name
Email
Work phone
Organization
Nickname
Home phone
Fax
Pager
Mobile
Additional Email
Title
Department

But also the fields labelled
Custom 1
Custom 2
Custom 3
Custom 4

Additionally, I could say, *any* field in the address-card should be displayable
in this list, including Country, City and so on. But that would be another bug.
