I assume that this means you want file transfer support (e.g. not just linking to a file somewhere, but actually transferring the file over instant messaging). There's a bug in chat core about this, that I've duped this onto. Please let me know if this isn't what you meant!

ok you're right... Thunderbird is a poor place to communicate : VisioConf + Instant Messaging possibilities are far from concurrents... very shame... thanks !

I'm a bit disappointed because there's no "so much" work to make Thunderbird fabulous... Visioconf is working with Firefox and File Transfer is OK with others Open Source softs (it seems to me)... I'd like to see Thunderbird evolve to a multi protocol hub for communicating, not only mails... nevertheless thanks for all your good job :O)
