I've seen on one of my test pages (and it moves from point to point when I make changes) a problem where the background extends 1px below the bottom border. This is probably a rounding issue in either border or background drawing. Test case and screenshot to be attached. (The unsimplified page where I see it is http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~dbaron/css/test/sec1101 .)
Note that I'm using the 1999-08-13-08-M9 build on Linux, which shows the wrong build ID (see bug 11852).

dbaron..is this bug Linux specific...what our the results on Win32 and Mac.

Hardware: PC → All
I don't know - I don't have a Mac and it takes me a while to reboot to get Windows. However, checking this one on Windows 1999-08-16-09-M9 shows that it is cross-platform, or at least Linux and Windows. Marking All/All.
With the Aug 16th Mac build, the same problem is occuring.
Bug does not occur in build 2000012400 on Windows NT 4.0 sp6. Bug does not occur in build 2000012310 on Solaris 2.6/sparc. Resolving as WORKSFORME.
