The title here is a bit confusing - Thunderbird 38 was released ~12 weeks ago. This might be for 38.3.0 instead, which is the one that will be released around the same time as Firefox 38.3.0 ESR?

sorry this is for 38.2.0 as I couldn't find a tracking bug for that on friday when I was pushing to mirrors/publishing to balrog.

given that,

nthomas: does 1194989 affect anything left in this 38.2.0 (just throttling and post-release steps are left). is there anything for me to action for 1194989 in terms of release automation configs? Is this going to affect future tb releases?

We don't need to do anything else for bug 1194989, new crashes are being symbolified and they're processing the older reports too. Just wait for an unthrottling request.
