The Java based APZ in Fennec nightly appears to remain more responsive during page load of heavy pages such as the NYT.com desktop pages compared to the C++ APZ. Gestures such as double tap and pinch-to-zoom exhibit latency not seen with the Java based APZ.

The Java APZ code has been removed so we can't really compare any more.
