1200992 - tags on sent e-mails disappear

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/44.0.2403.157 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I add tags to new, forwarded and replied e-mails 


Actual results:

when I sent a tagged e-mail tags disappears 


Expected results:

I'd wish tags remain on sent emails

How do you "send a tagged email"? You tag the received originals. When you reply to it, a new message is created. Do you set tags on it while it is a draft? Or what exactly do you do?

When I create a new message I set a tag and I send it. When I go to check messages in "Sent messages folder" there isn't any tags on them.
When I receive a new email I set tag on it if I need to reply or forward this message on draft message tag is still there, but after I sent it if I go to "sent messages folder" tag disappears.
Please let me know if I have to add screenshots.

Mkmelin, jcranmer, when a message is composed and a draft is created, is that draft just deleted on send (and a new copy is serialized in Sent), or is it just moved to Sent?

Pretty sure it's just deleted and a new copy put into Sent. (Especially as it needs to remove the draft header and stuff first.)

The solution is bug 370260
