The pref for setting Mozilla as the default mail client has a checked value by
default. This will set Mozilla as the default mail client when u start it the
very first time. Although u can uncheck the preference "Use Netscape/Mozilla
mail as the default mail application" by going to Edit/Preferences/Mail and
Newsgroup dialog, should we have this set as the initial value ?

The best chice would be to ask the user during the first startup like nearly all
other apps do.
But it would be fine if the user's setting would take effects :)

The fix for bug # 123596 should solve this one too.
Trix, can you please verify this. Now if Mozilla is not set as the default when
Mail is launched it asks the user if he/she wants to set Mozilla as the default
mail application.
