Several of our Windows VMs have become unresponsive and we are unable to connect to them via remote desktop. Could they please be restarted?
Also, is there a way for us to troubleshoot and/or restart these ourselves in the future if we cannot connect to them via remote desktop?
The hostnames are:
selenium1.qa.scl3.mozilla.com
selenium2.qa.scl3.mozilla.com
selenium3.qa.scl3.mozilla.com
selenium4.qa.scl3.mozilla.com
selenium5.qa.scl3.mozilla.com
selenium6.qa.scl3.mozilla.com

Alright, those 6 have been restarted.
Now for the interesting part - access.
Yes, we can give you (and whoever you designate access) to those VMs.
So, I need several things.
1) permissions desired ... Console/Start/Stop/Restart for the VMs looks like what you want
2) Who gets them? you, Dave Hunt, stephen donner?
3) Which VMs?
selenium{1-6}.qa.scl3
selenium*.qa.scl3 (this covers staging, hub, etc)
Let me know, and we can make those changes, and I can give you some documentation on how to access your VMs.

Thanks Chris. I would say yes to all of your suggested answers above.
1) Those permissions sound correct.
2) Yes, myself, Dave Hunt and Stephen Donner.
3) Yes, all of the selenium*.qa.scl3 VMs would be helpful.
Thanks again for your help.

Dave, FYI, I accessed each of the nodes and started up the grid node process on each. They are showing up in the hub console.

So, I've added permissions to the "Selenium" resource pool (containing those VMs) for you to be able to power off and on and console to the VMs using vCenter. Attached is a document that describes how to access the VC as well as do those tasks. The sections on resource increases won't work for you, as you don't have those permissions.
Let me know if you have any issues or questions.
