120665 - Mailing list adds email address every time you send the mail out

This is a wierd bug, you can see it while the application is open. You can close
/reopen Address book but it disapears if you exit.
Steps to reproduce:
- open your Address Book;
- create a mail list with few addresses in it;
- note that mailing list is showing up under the PAB in the left pane and in the
right pane if you select PAB;
- now send message using this list, type list name, it'll get autocompleted with
description, send the message
- repeat sending several times;
//now select your PAB, select the list from the right pane, llok at the bottom
where the list is displayed as a card properties, look under addresses, you'll
see as amny addresses as times you used the list.

Thanks for posting the screenshot. However, I am not able to reproduce the bug
with today's build...I am going to try with a brand new profile.

can hardly fit the screen..

WFM, 0.9.9/Win98.  However, I'm about to mark two bugs dupes of this one; plus
half  of bug 130613, which I'm marking invalid since it talks about two bugs at
once, both dupes, is a dupe of this one.  So there's definitely -something-
going awry.  Reporter of bug 122777 says that his problem turned out to be a
corrupt localstore.rdf, so you might investigate that.

I am the reporter of bug 122777 and, as Andrew pointed out, deleting
localstore.rdf fixed it for me, and it it still working, however I still see
some wierdness in the Address Book itself which, although the Address Book UI
itself is not the subject of this bug, is very similar in effect.

In the attached screenshot, note the duplicated entries in the left image with
no entry in the name field. All these people have proper entries (name and
e-mail address) in the Address Book, but these spurious entries are created
when I added them to a mail list.

In the image on the right, note that the last entry in the Mailing List is an
e-mail address only (no name) and that it is one of the spurious entries in the
image on the left.

When I add an entry to a list, either by dragging from the Address Book or
typing and selecting from the auto-complete, the entry is added correctly (name
and e-mail), but click OK to dismiss the Mail List, then click Properties to
open it again, and you get what you see here - no name, and another spurious
entry in the address book.

The first 6 entries in the Mail List are shown correctly but they were added
when the list was first created and there are no spurious entries for these
people in the Address Book.

One final thing. If I delete the spurious entries from the Address Book they
disappear from the List as well.

I have deleted my Address Book and recreated it (from an LDIF file created on
another (NS) system) but it doesn't cure the problem.

if i use the same profile in 6.2 i don't see this problem, mailing list has
only one entry

I should add that I can't reproduce this (mis)behaviour on my home machine, also
W2K but using a CVS build, but I can't drag 'n' drop onto the Mailing List from
the Address Book which I can on my work machine (0.9.9).

Trunk build 2002-03-18: We were unable to reproduce the problem using Marina's
windows system.
