Does the crash reporter window show up afterwards? If yes, please submit a crash report, then do the following:
1. Click the Windows logo orb on the taskbar to bring up the Start Menu.
2. In the search box, paste the following, then press Enter:
%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted\
3. From the Windows Explorer window that opened, copy the file name of the most recent report. Paste this crash report ID in a comment here.

Yes there was a successful crash report. Here is the latest crash report file name from my 41.0 installation (bp-743f33f5-d16a-479a-b773-c9f472150927). I revert back to 40.0.3 already to continue working with profiles.

You are using 306.97 on what appears to be an nvidia ion.
This device also has an intel GMA 3150 running 8.14.10.2230(latest)
The crash is due to a stack overflow in the 64bit nvidia runtime, which has been fixed since Release 340.
Please upgrade to 341.81

That's right my nvidia driver is 306.97, and it cause that FF crashes since version 41.0. Tried to upgrade the driver to the latest version, but it is no more compatible with my hybrid Intel/Nvidia GMA/GPU due to lack of support from Nvidia. So I switched FF to use Intel only GMA in NVIDIA Control Panel, and now FF 41.0 starts fine with profile manager and everything except my personal digital signature certificate (DSC). Found that DSC doesn't work with FF 40.0.3 either, and works fine with 40.0.2, so am I need to open new bug track?

OK. The Smart card reader software need to be updated and DSC works fine too with FF 41.0. Thanks again!
