STR:
0. Prerequisites: make sure another app than SMS is open (ex: Contacts)
1. Open the SMS app, open a new message.
2. Tap the "pick attachment" button, choose Gallery.
3. Long press home, switch to Contacts.
4. Long press home again, switch to Messages (and you'll still see the Gallery activity)

=> Notice the statusbar is displayed on top of the Gallery activity. See attachment.

This may have the same root cause as bug 1212045; with the in-flight patch for that bug I'm unable to reproduce this one. I'll take this to confirm.
