This bug is a per-requisite to get the tests moved over into the tree via bug 1214372. Means we have to update the modules in our repository to make use of the upcoming new mixin classes for Marionette desktop tests as done in bug 1212608. Beside that our tests should have a low failure volume so that we do not mess-up on Treeherder. Especially when we moved to Tier 2 and sheriffs are watching the results. Maybe we only want to submit the local functional tests as Tier 2 and keep the remote tests as Tier 3.

As discussed with David the top failures as seen for Firefox Nightly builds have been fixed. The remaining intermittent failures will be covered outside of this tracking bug.
