Every update of Firefox is in the begining incompatible with Norton Toolbar. Why is this always a problem?

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 Build ID: 20150826023504 Steps to reproduce: Upgraded to 41.0 Actual results: Norton toolbar was disabled as incompatable. Expected results: For a change of pe, try to make it work with Norton the first time. I always end up downgrading to the previous version. Then I get constant reminder upgrade to the newer version that I already had and abandoned. I'd like to know up front that the product will work.
