Whenever I want to save a web page, all I get is a folder with the page name,
but it is empty. If I save as HTML only I get most of what I want, but not all.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click File, click Save Page As, try to open file.
2.
3.

Actual Results: An empty folder

Expected Results: To be able to open a web page offline

I presume it has worked, but not for some time.

Does this happen on all pages? Or just some pages?

I needs more details to work on this:

1. A sample page
2. Where you were trying to save the file (harddrive, network)
3. Whether a progress dialog appeared
4. Whether progress dialog displayed any useful info
5. What files were saved and which weren't.

We have a couple of bugs which detail problems with certain pages (bug 119496 &
bug 115216)
I have just saved your Bugzilla email, so some pages are saving correctly,
however for a sample that do not try:-
http://www.monash.edu.au/pubs/handbooks/undergrad/ug0320.htm
It doesn't work with the postgraduate handbook either.
I was saving to the harddrive.
The progress indicator flickered but did not stay active long enough to show
anything positive, however when the page was saved as HTML only it indicated
that something was being saved.
Nothing was saved, the folder was empty, plus there was no Mozilla Hypertext
Markup Language Document created.
This is a dup of bug 115216. The page contains a <link> element with a mailto:
in the href. Webbrowserpersist was too stupid to know it shouldn't try saving
these types of URLs and went into meltdown when no data came back.

The checkin I made for bug 119496 last night fixes the problem but I'll mark
this a dupe of 115216.
