User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0 Build ID: 20151014143721 Steps to reproduce: open firefox click on MENU (bars on right of screen) choose ADD-ONS choose "Click to see if your plugins are up to date" Actual results: reports: Adobe Reader Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape outdated 15.9.20069.28170 Expected results: actual installed Adobe Reader version is 15.009.20071. When i attempt to install, adobe website tells me i have a newer version already installed and won't let me install. if the "Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape" is a separate Program from the base Adobe Reader, then the link to the update is not correct. I have duplicated this problem on 2 or 3 different computers running Vista, Windows 7 Pro, and Win10
Why do you think this a problem of some Firefox code, instead of a problem with that installed Adobe software itself?
I was able to reproduce this issue on Windows 7 x64 Using Firefox 44.0a1 (20151022030546) but I am not so sure that this issue is on our side or Adobe's. Perhaps there's someone with extensive knowledge on this area that might be able to help here.
