STR: 1. From the Homescreen (first panel), press and hold on an icon (app or pinned site) until it's movable 2. Move the icon to the bottom of the list (basically off screen) The icon has to be placed on top of the trash can in order to make the screen scroll. This is both confusing and scary for users as they are trying to organize not delete items. The confirmation is great to prevent data loss, but in the case of the user accidentally letting go before final placement, the icon returns to the location it came from causing the user to start over. Organizing the Homescreen has become arduous.

Do you have a suggestion for a better interaction? Given that we only have one week before code-complete, we can't block on feedback like this unless we have a clear understanding of the risk vs. reward of the proposed fix.

I'm just reporting! :) Passing NI to the designer working on the feature - Liz

This should be fixed as part of the new changes Chris is working on - the user no longer needs to drag to the trashcan - user selects an icon and taps the trash can instead.
