On the above page the last column of filenames is overlapped by the menu table making both difficult to read and use.

Note to self: this depends on the width of the window. I guess the best fix is to maybe make the Menu end before the file list begins. I think all answers are going to be icky. Hmm.

This bug has not been touched for more than nine months. In most cases, that means it has "slipped through the net". Please could the owner take a moment to add a comment to the bug with current status, and/or close it. Thank you :-) Gerv

unable to duplicate this... has this been fixed and the bug didn't get closed?
On the listed page, I see no filenames at all, only directory names, none of which give a problem. If I resize to a small width, I do see some quirky layer behavior, but it has to be really thin. Suggesting WFM.
Okay, I just read through bug 60478 and checked the URL listed there: http://bonsai.mozilla.org/rview.cgi?cvsroot=/cvsroot&dir=mozilla/xpfe/global/resources/content&module=SeaMonkeyAll I can see this now in NN 4.7, but not in Moz, as is probably expected.

I have seen this forever and am still seeing it in Linux trunk build 2002-04-28-07. Please change OS to "ALL".
I see this in Net+2.2 on BeOS, the fix should be relatively simple.

Comment on attachment 86012 [details] [diff] [review] draft With this patch, the Files list still overlaps the menu on a narrow window. Something more about the columns needs to be handled

ok, http://landfill.bugzilla.org/bonsai-test/bonsai/rview.cgi?cvsroot=/home/cvsroot&dir=plague/plague/buda/html-assets/images&module=All is now running with this patch among others. The original draft had two main flaws 1. </table> and <table> aren't the same :) 2. It left the width=30% param.

Ok this includes the fixes for old Konqs - bug 88759 and a similar NC4 issue where the file list ends up as a single collumn because of tag soup. There's also some other cleanup which should make things better.
