This is a tracker bug for SUMO locales currently hosted on Verbatim and their destination once Verbatim is decommissioned.

Moving to Pontoon:
(Already moved to Pontoon as requested by locale contributors)

bm - Bambara (recently added)
zh-CN / zh-TW - Chinese
fr - French
de - German
hu - Hungarian
it - Italian
ko - Korean
dsb / hsb - Lower Sorbian / Upper Sorbian
mg - Malagasy (recently added)
pt-BR / pt-PT - Portuguese
ro - Romanian
sr - Serbian
si - Sinhala
sl - Slovenian
sw - Swahili
sv - Swedish
uk - Ukrainian

Moving to places other than Pontoon:
(Locale contributors requested an alternative solution to Pontoon)
pl - Polish -> GitHub
nl - Dutch -> Pootle

Zero activity locales on Verbatim:
(These will not be migrated unless there is community activity before Verbatim's shutdown)

Note that we have a lot more locales in the repository

For example I spotted af, ar, bn-BD, bn-IN right at the beginning, but there are a lot more.

I don't know why my brain mixed MDN and SUMO
https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~flod/webstatus/?product=sumo

Still, there are several unlisted locales: af, ak, ar, etc.

Apologies for not mentioning this straight away - the currently unlisted locales in this bug will be added as the contributors decide if they're OK with Pontoon or need alternative solutions.

Undecided locales will be moved over to Pontoon by default.

I'm locale leader of Persian(fa) sumo team.
I and other translators translated sumo ui and more mozilla websites such as mozilla add-Ons and MDN via verbatim,
Please move Persian sumo ui translations to Pontoon.
Also please give me permissions for sumbit translations like verbatim for Mozilla addons, sumo website and MDN.
I think for persian language Pontoon is very better than pootle.
If you can, please move all of Persian language projects from verbatim to Pontoon.

This is a discussion about a specific argument (SUMO moving away fro Verbatim). About your last two comments: please file a bug in Webtools::Pontoon and CC all relevant members of the team to discuss.

Please also CC me on the bug you file for migrating from Pootle to Pontoon. This type of migration is something that's best discussed as a team and decided upon as such.
