On the website dfw.speakeasy.net the Java applet that is suppose load up does

6.2.1 and IE 6.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to any website that has Java applets (e.g. dfw.speakeasy.net).
2.
3.

Actual Results: The Java applet did not load up and was unable to run the applet.

Expected Results: The Java applet should have loaded up and been able to run
applet.

Hmm, runs fine on my PC, using Build 2002012403 on Win98 and Java 1.4.0rc with
plugin (rc = release candidate). The plugin starts, the applet as well and I can
run it without any problems. Either it only happens on later builds or only on
Windows XP.
Can Mozilla work correctly with Java plug-in 1.4.0RC running on a Windows XP
Pro machine and load up Java applets? I've tried Java plug-in 1.40RC with
Mozilla 20020126 and Java plug-in 1.4.0RC with Mozilla 20011221, with no luck.
I've also tried Java plugin 1.3.1_01 and 1.3.1_02 and still get the same
thing. The only thing difference between tgos@spamcop.net's configuration and
mine is that I'm running XP. Could someone check into this for me please or
try running the lastest version of Mozilla and the Java plug-in on a XP box?

Thanks
WFM 2002012605-0.9.8. NT4sp6a.

I installed Java by dropping NPJava130_01.dll, NPJava130_01a.dll,
NPJava130_01b.dll, NPJava130_01c.dll and NPOJI600.dll into the
Plugins folder by hand when installing Mozilla.
Java plug-in 1.4.0RC only installs the plug-in for IE and NS, but for Mozilla
you have to copy the files opened manually. Does everybody have to do that if
that want a Java enabled Mozilla browser? I figured Mozilla was not seeing the
local copy of the Java plug-in on my machine. Is there any development that is
going to automatically install the Java plug-in for Mozilla when the Java JRE
1.4.0RC is run?
Resolving as dup of bug 100393.
