STR: - Launch Nightly while holding Alt/Option - A dialog will appear, click in the "Start in Safe Mode" button Result: - Tabs that are loaded in the content process do not get rendered. Bisection pointed that this happened starting with bug 1180688, which disabled the BasicCompositor for Mac. (Note: I've seen bug 1212858, but that bug points the regression to bug 1179051, so I'm not sure if these are duplicates). e10s really needs to work in Safe mode because that's the most important tool that we have to ask for more debugging information from users (specially to rule out problems caused by add-ons)
I believe this is bug 1187322.
