Ignore thread doesn't seem to work properly anymore.  This is using a build from
2002-01-29.

But this bug is titled 'Ignore thread doesn't work'. What is not working?

Please provide a bit more detail. "doesn't work properly" is awfully vague.

Didn't yet try today, but last week was indeed working in commencial build,
however there's a problem with the view...see bug 121164.

I just tried on win98 and the basic ignoring works with jan29 commercial trunk
build.  We don't have the visual indicator in (you already know that), but when
I reply to an ignored thread and get new messages, the message is automatically
marked read.  Again, there is a problem in the view ignored toggle.  So...
basics do work for me, I/we just need to know what you're reporting.

Once we determine what you're referring to, we can also set the severity down a
notch or two -- I don't think we take anything in ignore as critical.

Sorry, I was too tired when I filed this bug.  My problem is that I never could
get _watched_ threads to work.

I tried selecting a thread, and choosing "Watch" in the Message menu, but it
didn't seem to do anything. I've never used this feature, only Ignore, so I
don't know how it's supposed to work - but nothing visual was displayed.

Ignore Thread works just fine for me.

Well, again, since there wasn't a visual indicator (bug72279), you wouldn't
immediately see anything happen.  However, when a watched thread has unread
components, you would see it if you switched to View|Watched Threads with
Unread.  I will double-check that in today's build and call this worksforme if
it indeed is working.

It's working, but the new icon doesn't show up immediately like it should -- I
had to go to the view first. That's another issue... will check into it more and
log a  separate bug(s).
