If you click on the site lock, then the ">" slideout you see a "More information" button. That button takes you to the "General" tab of the Page Info dialog which does not have the additional information. Users have to figure out they want the "Security" tab to get it, requiring an extra click.

In the old "Larry" door-hanger days the more info button _did_ take us directly to the "Security" tab so it should be possible to do this.

I argue in bug 1226323 that the information should be moved to the door-hanger instead--an "enhancement"--while this is clearly a bug. Until (or if?) we do bug 1226323 fixing this simple bug will eliminate a painful paper-cut.
How hard would it be to link to the right place here? It may just be a one line code change.

Clicking the "More information" button always takes me to the "Security" tab in every version of Firefox that I have here (from Nightly to Release). Both Mac and Linux. Can you provide more information about your setup? Have you tried with a clean profile?

This was due to a broken add-on, "View Cookies", which adds a tab to the Page Info dialog. It was handy (when it was working) but has apparently been abandoned by its author and removed from AMO:

The More Information button works fine on its own.

I must also have a broken addon installed because in my default profile I also get taken to the "General" tab. But in another profile I get to the Security tab when I click More Information.
