Steps to reproduce:

1.) I connected a Thunderbird client to our Xeams Server (Xeams Enterprise Edition Version 4.8, build 5792)
IMAP Settings: local IP-address, port 143, no encryption

2a.) To verify the issue I used different Thunderbird versions on different windows clients
2b.) To verify the issue I tested it with different user-accounts

3.) Using other clients works fine, tested with:
- Clients: Outlook, Opera Mail, K9
- WebMailer: Roundcube
- Android: Google Mail Client, K9


Actual results:

When I select an IMAP folder some folders show empty and the others show only one email. It is not unforeseeable which mail will be shown. It's not the oldest or the newest one.

The strange thing is, that when I choose a folder, click on 'Get Mail', one more e-mail appears, and so forth. The same happens when I choose 'repair' for example. But when I close TB and re-open it, it is the same as before.

The attached example is a folder with 343 items.

Copy new eMails with Thunderbird into an IMAP folder works fine, the mails arrived on the server correctly. But they will not shown again.

I using Google to search for a solution but only found people changing the server or client software.


Expected results:

The result should be a correct list of emails in every IMAP-folder.
