We can help users by notifying them their urls are syntactically invalid after they hit enter.
Or we can decide we shouldn't do this so that users can set a search as their url.
Anthony, thoughts? UI? Worth it as a mentored bug? When deciding if it's worth it, keep in mind we'll use some APK space for code and we'll have to maintain this new interface even if the initial implementation is mentored.

We let users set search terms as pinned sites, and desktop lets you set a search term as your homepage.
I think we should WONTFIX this.

It's kinda neat that you can set a search term as a Homepage. Although somewhat hidden, this is something we can tell users about in bug 1227742 too.
I'm OK with WONTFIX-ing this.
